Man Arrested In Secaucus For Driving Truck Stolen From Rhode Island: Police

A 38-year-old man from Providence was arrested in Secaucus on Tuesday, Oct. 24 for driving a car stolen out of Rhode Island, police said.

At 8:02 p.m., police were patrolling the Extended Stay Hotel at Meadowland Parkway when they observed an occupied Chevy pickup idling in the parking lot, police said. Police discovered the truck had been stolen from Warwick, R.I. earlier in the day and arrested Haashim Bee, police said.

Bee was charged with receiving a stolen vehicle and had an active warrant for his arrest from Hanover, police said. Bee was released after posting bail pending his first appearance in court, police said.
